“Big Boy 4014” was taken in June 2026 at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Union Pacific 4014 “Big Boy” 4-8-8-4 was built by the American Locomotive Company in 1941. The 4014 was in service until 1959 then sat on display. It was acquired by UP in 2013 and returned to steam in 2019 following a $4 million restoration. Of the 25 Big Boys built, only 8 remain with the 4014 being the only one in operation.
