Remembrance Day

“Remembrance Day” was taken in November 2025 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Every year, 3512 luminaries are lit at the Gettysburg National Cemetery in remembrance of the Civil War soldiers buried there. It also commemorates Abraham Lincoln’s dedication of the cemetery on November 19, 1863. Volunteers read off the names of all 3512 soldiers throughout the evening.
