“Norfolk and Western 1218” was taken in June 2025 at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia. The 1218 is a Class A 2-6-6-4 articulated steam locomotive. It was built in 1943 at the N&W Roanoke Shops and would routinely pull 150 coal cars at 70 mph.
It is now the last surviving in its class and has been on static display since 2003.
