Middle Creek Flight

“Middle Creek Flight” was taken at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Every year 70,000 migrating snow geese can be seen stopping here on their way north to the arctic tundra. Their population had been so low that hunting them was banned from 1916 to 1975.
