“Lock 12” was taken in October 2022 in York County, Pennsylvania. Lock 12 was part of the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal, which was in use from 1840 to 1894. The canal ran 45 miles along the Susquehanna River from Havre de Grave, MD to Wrightsville, PA. This is the best-preserved of the 29 locks that were on the canal.
