Guarding the Nest

“Guarding the Nest” was taken in April 2026 outside Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. This bald eagle was seen on its nest on a sunny Spring afternoon. It’s unknown if there were any hatchlings or how long this nest has been in use. There are more and more nests appearing in the area, as the bald eagle population has increased dramatically over the last 30 years.
