“Cowan’s Gap Beach” was photographed in October 2015 in Cowan’s Gap State Park, Pennsylvania. Beautiful fall foliage can be seen here at Cowan’s Gap Lake in Fulton County. The lake was named after John Cowan who settled here around 1785. The lake was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and was opened to the public in 1937.
